As a company in 2022, we raised an incredible £3017.50 for the Yorkshire's Brain Tumour Charity!
2023 will see GW Bodyshop fundraise for another charity close to our hearts, MS Society (Multiple Sclerosis Society).
Our MD Shane has set his eyes on another challenge, Sea to Sea with Bike the UK for MS.
The challenge will take place over three days between 19.08.2023 & 21.08.2023.
We will see Shane cycle 150 miles with 11,969 feet of elevation change, from Whitehaven to Newcastle, over the course of 3 days.

The Bike the UK for MS team are inspired individuals of all backgrounds, ages and cycling abilities, and we want you to join us. The riders come together for a common purpose: to raise funds and awareness for MS research, volunteer their time, and make a positive impact on the lives of people living with MS.

What's included within our free vehicle winter health check...
Tyres - We will check the overall condition of your tyres including the tread depth and pressure.
Battery – We will test the batteries charge to make sure your car starts in the mornings.
Coolant / Anti-freeze – We will check the strength and levels.
Wiper blades for splits or damage.
Operation of the windscreen wash system and the level of screen wash and top this up if necessary.
Light bulbs – faulty or broken bulbs should be replaced to avoid being pulled over by the police.
Once your check has been completed our trained technicians will discuss the report with you and provide help and guidance if any elements do not meet the safety requirements.

Shane cycled 180 miles Bay to Bay with Nuvem & friends for YBTC (Yorkshire Brain Tumour Charity).
The charity bike ride took place from 01.07.2022 - 03.07.2022
Shane has raised a total of £1957.50!

On Saturday 29th October 2022, our colleague Harvey participated in a charity boxing match in aid of his chosen charity - Yorkshire Brain Tumour Charity (YBTC)
The lead up to the event consisted of 10 weeks of vigorous training, provided by Left Jab Boxing Club, Huddersfield.
Harvey has raised a total of £1060.00!
